Camosun Chargers 69
Langara Falcons 53
Despite 33 turnovers the Chargers used a big third quarter to hold off the Falcons on Friday night. They shot 47% and were led by Mia Roberts who finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds to compliment her five assists. Ashley McGinnis came off the bench and was a spark plug hitting five-three pointers and 17 points.
The Falcons struggled offensively shooting 28% led by Stephanie von Riedermann’s 15 points.
VIU Mariners 59
Quest Kermodes 51
Friday night the Mariners outscored the Kermodes 12-5 in the second quarter and never looked back on route to the victory. Emma Platner hit three-three pointers and finished with 17 points and Emily Clarke scored 15 and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double.
For the Kermodes Kyra Boulding came off the bench and carried her club scoring a game high 22 points on the strength of three-three pointers. She also grabbed nine rebounds and collected three assists.

CBC Bearcats 49
The Royals completed the home team sweep on Friday night shooting 33% from the field. Their veteran group led the way as Sarah Jorgenson and Ellen Fallis each scored 13 points and Jorgenson added 10 rebounds. However Rachel Beauchamp was again a force down low with 12 points and 17 rebounds.
The Bearcats held a one point lead at the half; however they went ice cold in the second half shooting just 15%. Overall Havina Kaler led the way with 16 points and Sarah Rozendal added 10 points. Anna Kamerman had a great game on the glass pulling down 14 rebounds.

Camosun Chargers 86
Langara Falcons 66
The Chargers were outstanding from behind the arch, nailing 11-three pointers and shooting 52%. Both Kathryn Candell and Ashley McGinnis each hit three-threes, Candell leading all scorers with 17 points. Mia Roberts had another big game with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
The Falcons on the other hand didn’t really have an answer for the long range jumper. They did shoot 37% overall and four of their players reached double-digits. Trisha Pajayon led the way with 15 points and both Alexa Leynes and Soleil Wilding each had 12.

Quest Kermodes 60
The Mariners outscored the Kermodes 16-12 in the final frame to hold onto the victory. The Mariners had 35 points come from their bench as Danielle Vanbergen led the way with 14. In all they shot 37% from the field with Emma Platner helped out with 13 points.
For the second straight night the Kermodes played a solid road game and came up just a few points short. Emily Lachenmayer was very good scoring 16 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Martina Mason was also very good with 13 points.

CBC Bearcats 42
The Royals led from start to finish on Saturday after a 24-9 first quarter. They shot 46% from the field and saw four players reach double-digits. Sarah Jorgenson scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Simran Bir knocked down four-three pointers and finished with 14 points. Rachel Beauchamp came off the bench and finished with 13 points.
The Bearcats shot 22% from the field with Sarah Rozendal scoring nine points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
