Mia Roberts led the Chargers offence on Saturday recording 17 points and 11 rebounds while Aija Salvador dropped in 11. As a team they shot 39% and got 22 points from their bench.

The Kermodes defence was active on Saturday scoring 17 of their 58 points off the 27 turnovers they created. Kimmy Aburegeba dropped in 11 points as did Jordin Wilkinson coming off the bench. As a team they shot 33%.

VIU Mariners 70
Langara Falcons 25

Defensively the Mariners took over holding the Falcons shooters to just 13% from the field. The defence allowed just six points in each of the first two quarters and three in the third. They created 27 turnovers and had 19 steals to pave the way for victory.

Offensively Kaitlyn LaFontaine led the Mariners with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Olivia Mjaaland chipped in with 11 points.

Capilano Blues 64
CBC Bearcats 35

The Blues led the ballgame wire to wire and shot 37% to complete the weekend sweep. Each player on the Blues’ roster scored at least one basket and Emma Cunningham was the only player to reach double-digits when she dropped 17.

The Bearcat offence struggled shooting 22% led by Anna Kamerman’s 10 points.
