Savana Walkingbear of the Camosun Chargers enters the final semester of his PACWEST volleyball career. Many don’t know the story behind Savana and the struggles he had to overcome just to get to Camosun let alone become a highly skilled and talented volleyball student athlete.
In the first half of this season Savana has collected 90 kills in the 30 sets he’s played in. Battling through injuries and stressors off the court he has remained a potent offensive weapon for the Chargers and has placed high expectations on himself for the second semester.
He speaks with Ryan Watters about volleyball, life and life after Camosun in this PACWEST All-Access
