In a Thursday night affair, the visiting Capilano Blues travelled to New Westminster to take on the Douglas Royals. While Capilano entered the night already having secured the last playoff spot, the Royals were sitting only 2 points out of first place.
The Royals took the opening set with a 25-15 win. The 2nd and 3rd sets were a much closer but the Royals were able to fend off the Blues attack as they won he sets 25-22, 25-23 to take the match 3-2.
Both teams are back in action Friday night to close out the regular season.
