Blues earn Split with Cats

Looking to steal another victory at home, the CBC Bearcats were hoping for a repeat performance from last night's match. Unfortunately the results were not favourable for the hometown Cats as the Capilano Blues earned a hard fought 3-1 victory to split the weekend series with CBC.

"On the second night of a back to back, we were unable to produce the same consistency as the previous night." commented Cats head ciach Warketin.  "Though our defence kept us alive with another 11 blocks and 43 digs, we struggled with errors on the service line as well as offensively leading to a 4 set loss."

The Cats now eliminated from the playoffs, return to action next weekend against cross-town rival, the UFV Cascades in a home and home series to close out the regular season.  Capilano also return to action in their own home and home series with the Douglas Royals.
