The playoff pictures is starting to come alive
SATURDAY
Capilano Blues 3

Other than the scoreboard the number FOUR seemed to be magical for the Blues in Saturday’s victory. For the fourth time this season keeper Hudson Nelles pitched a shutout for the Blues making four saves.
Offensively the Blues got on the board early in what would turn out to be the game winner. Patrick Izett scored his third of the season in fourth minute.
Marco Favaro scored his second of the season in the 15th minute extending the Blues lead. Then in the 61st minute Izett added his second of the game and fourth of the year to secure the win.
Douglas Royals 3
VIU Mariners 1
The Royals scored a pair of goals early to set the pace on route to their seventh win of the season. Yianni Siafakas opened the scoring in the fifth minute with his fifth of the season. Then a minute later Tomi Fagopngbe tallied his second of the year in the sixth minute.
The Mariners would get on the board just before halftime when Taylor Arbour collected his fifth of the year in the 41st minute.
The second half was fairly quiet with just one goal. Race Williams scored in the 87th minute, his eighth of the campaign to put the game on ice for the Royals. Jared Horvath recorded the win for the Royals.
SUNDAY
Langara Falcons 4
VIU Mariners 1
It would be the Mariners to jump out at first as Ryan McCurdy tallied his third of the year in the 11th minute. After that however it was all Falcons.
Merlin Fisk evened the score in the 39th minute on a penalty kick. Rookie sensation Emmanuel Ekeh came out of halftime with fire in his eyes. He would give the Falcons a lead they would not relinquish in the 55th minute mark. Three minutes after that he would find the goal again collecting his 10th of the season.
Offensively Fisk then added another in the 75th minute for the final nail in the coffin.
Keeper Aleks Kalajdzic made six saves in the victory.

Douglas Royals 2
It was a wild and crazy first half with five goals. Blues’ player Patrick Izett opened the scoring in the eighth minute mark.
The Royals then tied the game in the 13th minute when Taylor Richardson scored his fifth of the year. The five minutes later Izett went back to work getting his second of the game when he scored in the 15th minute mark.
In the 33rd minute Adrian Sahagun scored his eighth of the season putting the game out of reach for the Royals.
Just before halftime Edris Najm finally solved keeper Hudon Nelles and scored a marker in the 40th minute mark. However six minutes later Keith Jackson scored his 10th of the season giving the Blues a lead they would never let go of.
