PACWEST Soccer Preview: Capilano Blues
Led by a new head coach the Blues are hungry for the PACWEST season
The Capilano Blues men’s soccer team had high hopes last season, but fell short of their ultimate goal and won the PACWEST bronze medal. Oddly enough they would beat the VIU Mariners in that bronze medal game 5-1, the same Mariners team that went onto win the CCAA national crown.
This season a new era will begin with the Blues as Alexander Elliott takes over as head coach. Last season he led the Quest Kermodes to a surprising PACWEST silver medal.
Coach Elliott speaks with Ryan Watters as he prepares his club to open the PACWEST season on Saturday at home when they face the Mariners.
