Kick-Off 2018

The PACWEST soccer season kicks off on September 8th as the 2018 men's and women's regular season schedule is unveiled.

The defending PACWEST champion Douglas Royals on the men’s side open the season when they face the Langara Falcons. The defending CCAA champion VIU Mariners begin their title defence on the road at Capilano. Meanwhile the women’s defending champion Royals also will host the Falcons on September 8th.

A pair of new head coaches on the men’s side will make their PACWEST debuts. The Mariners will be guided by Larry Stefanek who inherits the defending CCAA champs, while the Capilano Blues enter a new era with Alex Elliott taking over. Elliott comes to the Blues after a terrific coaching career at Quest University.

The 12-game schedule will conclude on Sunday October 21st before the provincial championships which are hosted by the Capilano Blues at the Burnaby Sports Complex.

The PACWEST champs will then head to the CCAA National tournament to compete for the national title. The women will stay close to home as the tournament is hosted at Douglas, while the men will head to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
