It was all Mariners from the opening kick. Joel Harry got the ball rolling at the 19th minute mark, a goal that would stand up as the game winners. Aly Adib would then score a pair of goals three minutes apart at the 40th and 43rd minute. From there Fernando Fenollosa, Niko Cristante and Stefan Cukovic also tallied for the Mariners.
David Turkstra made two saves for the shutout.
Douglas Royals 2
Quest Kermodes 0
The Royals captured their fourth win of the season behind the first shutout for Ryo Mizuno. They opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Edris Najm scored a goal that would prove to be the game winner.
Tetsuya Yoshinaga added the insurance goal in the 80th minute with the Kermodes buzzing for the equalizer.
SUNDAY
Capilano Blues 6
Langara Falcons 1
The Blues took advantage of a tired Falcons team and jumped on them early to score in the 15th minute when Adrian Sahagun found the back of the net. The Blues wasted little time keeping the pressure on before Nicolas Morello scored just seven minutes later. That goal would stand as the game winner.
In the 36th minute the Blues would strike again, this time off the boot of Matt Fedak.
Following the break Morello went to work and scored a pair of goals in the 50th and 54th minutes putting the game too far out of reach.
The Falcons did break the shutout as Kyle Kemp scored in the 72nd minute, however Keith Jackson came right back in the 80th minute for his PACWEST leading ninth of the season.
Blues’ keeper Jasluv Brar earned the victory.

The Mariners opened the scoring in the 14th minutes on a penalty kick from Victor Blasco. The goal would turn out to be the game winner.
The game remained 1-0 until the 76th minute when Stefan Cukovic scored his second in as many days giving the Mariners some insurance before the final nail delivered by Jordan DeGraaf who tallies his seventh of the season.
Keeper David Turkstra earned his sixth shutout of the PACWEST season.
