The PACWEST is proud to announce the Soccer Athletes of the Week following the PACWEST championship tournament.

Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week
Mikayla Hamilton – Douglas Royals

The PACWEST Player of the Year Mikayla Hamilton had a terrific PACWEST championship tournament helping her club to a Conference gold medal and a berth in the 2017 CCAA National Championship. She tallied two goals during the tournament including one in the gold medal shootout on Saturday night.

Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week
Tetsuya Yoshinaga – Douglas Royals

The Royals claimed a PACWEST gold medal this past weekend after upsetting the Capilano Blues in the semi-final 3-2, then shutting out the Quest Kermodes in the finale 3-0. Tetsuya Yoshinaga was simply outstanding scoring the final goal in the gold medal game. He was seemingly all over the field this past weekend and will not doubt continue his hot play at the CCAA Nationals beginning on November 8th.
