Moira Brown – VIU Mariners
Moira Brown is playing with great confidence following an outstanding Week 4 of the season. She scored a pair of goals against the Quest Kermodes to set the tone for the entire game. Then on Sunday she was solid against the Capilano Blues recording and assist to end her fantastic weekend.
Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week
Shun Takano – VIU Mariners
Shun Takano scored a great individual goal on Saturday that turned out to be the winner. He was also named the acting Captain with four starters out of the lineup this past weekend and led the team to a pair of big wins against the Quest Kermodes and Capilano Blues.
