The Mariners, Blues and Chargers each with a win on Saturday

This was a very strange offensive game that the Chargers held onto win.
The Kermodes scored 20 points in the first quarter to take the lead, before the Chargers held them to just two points in the second frame. Then in the third quarter the Kermodes found their stroke again with 19 points and held the Chargers to just eight.
Ismail Abdulahi came off the Chargers bench and the led the club with 16 points. Starters Shaquille Maharj and Jake Wilmott each added 11 points in the victory.
The Kermodes on the other hand had three starters reach double digits. Chris McAlpine set the pace with 16 points, Ben Steinbrueck had 14 and Payton Tirrell had a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

Langara Falcons 63
The Mariners wasted little time filling up the basket on Saturday outscoring the Falcons 27-13 in the first quarter, then 30-18 in the second. Offensively every Mariner on the roster scored at least three points with Tyus Barfoot leading the way with 22 and Usama Zaid with 21.
The Falcons on the other hand saw four players reach double-digits led by the 14 from Martin Bogajev.

CBC Bearcats 65
The Blues exploded for 38 points the first quarter and added 40 more in the fourth to rout the Bearcats. Every Blue hit the scoresheet led by Nathan Bromige’s 20 and Denver Sparks-Guest went for 19 and 12 rebounds. In all seven players scored 11 points or more as the team shot 58% from the field and 59% from downtown connecting on 19 shots.
The Bearcats simply could not stop the Blues offence despite creating 19 turnovers and three steals. Offensively they got 17 points from Ethan Sorensen and 16 from Tim Dick.
