The Mariners kept rolling on Saturday riding a 31 point third quarter to victory. Usama Zaid scored a game high 28 points and Jerod Dorby finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
In all the Mariners recorded seven-three points including four from Zaid.
The Kermodes coaching staff used all of their players as each of them scored at least one bucket. Payton Tirrell was the only Kermode who reached double-digits with 10 and 10.
Langara Falcons 88
Camosun Chargers 83
Despite trailing at halftime the Falcons recorded a monster fourth quarter to complete the comeback and record the win. They also outscored the Chargers 21-13 in the final frame.
The Falcons recorded 12-three pointers to earn the win. Martin Bogajev held the hot hand hitting five of them and finished with a game high 26 points.
Harry Liu came off the bench hitting four long range bombs and finished with 16 points. Ravi Basra tallied 20 points, six assists, six steals and five rebounds.
Offensively the Chargers were led by Dallas Hancox’s 21 points and Shaquille Maharaj’s 20. Mathew Hampton had the lone double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
