The second tournament of the PACWEST golf season will be hosted at the Okanagan Golf Club by the UBC Okanagan Heat.

Last week it was the Heat winning three of the four categories setting themselves up for a pair of rounds on their home course on Saturday and Sunday. Marcus Apchin won the men’s tournament while Samantha Copeland won the women’s side. Copeland and her women’s team also won the low team score.

The golfers will be in for a challenge of wet and cool conditions on Saturday and Sunday in Kelowna with the daytime highs reaching 16 degrees.

The Bear Course at the Okanagan Golf Club is one of two spectacular golf courses. Planned by Nicklaus Design to ignite your passion for the game, The Bear's 18 hole 6,885 yard, par 72 masterpiece design opened for play in 1999 and is unlike any other golf course in British Columbia. With dramatic sculpted fairways surrounded by the forests and sage brush hills of B.C.'s sun-drenched southern interior, The Bear is the crown jewel course of the Okanagan Valley.
