Cole Briggs of the UFV Cascades played a pair of tournaments during the 2016 PACWEST golf season.
He played as an individual for the Cascades shooting a 157 in the first PACWEST tournament at the Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford. Then at Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam he tied for seventh place shooting a 150 which included his season best a 73.
In the classroom Briggs is in the Criminology program, which is a major reason why he chose to stay close to home and attend UFV. Criminology is in his blood as he shares the fact that a number of family members have taken the same path.
He is highlighted in the PACWEST's “Best In Class,” a feature focused on the student athletes across the Conference that are leaving their mark on athletics and academics.
