Volleyball Athletes of the Week - Week 5

The PACWEST is proud to announce the volleyball Athletes of the Week following Week 5 of the regular season.

Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week
Jodi Enns – CBC Bearcats

Jodi led the Bearcats to a weekend split and their first win of the season with two wonderful performances. She tallied 15 kills, 4 aces and 12 digs in Thursday’s opener, adding a solid 2.15 serve receive average on 23 attempts. Not satisfied with that result she ramped up her performance on Saturday notching 23 kills with only 9 errors on 58 swings. She added 2 aces, 1 stuff block and 15 digs while continuing her steady serve receive play with a 2.10 average on 25 attempts.

Men’s Volleyball Athletes of the Week
Jeff Webb – VIU Mariners

The second year left side attacker had an excellent weekend against the College of the Rockies Avalanche. He combined for 42 total offensive points with 39 kills with an outstanding kill efficiency of 0.357, 2 service aces, 10 digs, a block and an assist over the weekend. In Friday night’s 3 set match he provided the Mariners 16 kills, 6 digs, an assist and a service ace. On Saturday, continued his strong play with another very well rounded performance with 13 kills, 4 digs, a service ace, and a block.
