Jerome Cross chipped in offensively for the winners with 13 kills, and middles Douglass Waterman (four blocks) and Spencer Janzen (three blocks) were forces at the net. Libero Elion Wong notched a team-high 18 digs, and Cross and Bida had 10 digs apiece.
The Mariners’ balanced attack was paced by outside hitters Jeff Webb (nine kills, two blocks) and Brayden Brouwer (nine kills, one block, 11 digs), with middles Doug Groenendijk (eight kills, three blocks) and Adam Kapteyn (seven kills, two blocks) also excelling.
