WVB Recap Bronze Match - Capilano vs UFV

For the second straight season the Capilano Blues are bronze medalists after sweeping the UFV Cascades 25-15, 25-22 and 25-19.

The Blues played outstanding defence collecting a number of big blocks and not giving the

Cascades’ hitters much to work with.  Mika Chow was solid in the backcourt in her final match of her career with dig after dig.

Kira Sutcliffe led the offence with 12 kills and Alexis Sebok tallied seven in her final match.  Setter Sarah Hughes was named the Player of the Match with four aces.

Kelly Robertson was named the Player of the Match for the Cascades in a losing cause.
