Keith Jackson Wins Scoring Title
The Capilano Blues sniper scored 13 goals and wins the PACWEST scoring race
For the third straight season Keith Jackson of the Capilano Blues has won the PACWEST regular season scoring title with 13 goals. Amazingly it’s the third straight season in which he has scored more than 10 times.
He has been an absolute dominating force over the course of his time in the PACWEST. This season he leaped frogged Sanil Sandhu and is now second in all-time scoring with 44 goals, five less than Corey Birza who tallied 49 during his five years at Capilano.
“Keith is extremely consistent, doing what he does year after year,” said Blue head coach Alex Elliott on what Jackson has meant to the program. “It does not surprise me that he is second all-time on the PACWEST goal scoring chart. His direct approach and speed of play makes a frightening match up for many defenders.”
Jackson and the Blues will play for PACWEST gold on Saturday and regardless of the score will head east to Holland College on Prince Edward Island for the CCAA National Championship November 6-10th.
