The Blues Meet The Chargers
The men's bracket opens when the Blues and Chargers tip-off
The men’s bracket at the PACWEST Championship opens on Thursday at 3:00pm when the #3 seeded Capilano Blues battle the #6 seeded Camosun Chargers. During the seasonal series these teams met three times with the Blues winning twice, outscoring them 243-241.
The Blues won the first two meetings, but the Chargers rallied in the last meeting of the year and won by 27 points.
These two match up well with one another and seem to be fairly even. In the series the Blues shot 40.1% from the field while the Chargers shot 38.5%. They can both hit from the outside and both can pound the ball in. This should be a fun one to watch.
Keep in mind the Chargers were the sixth seed last season and went onto win the PACWEST silver medal. The winner on Thursday will face the #2 seeded Langara Falcons in Friday’s semi-final.
