Host Kermodes Tip With Chargers
A 4-5 match up that has the potential to be a classic quarterfinal battle
The host and #5 seeded Quest Kermodes will see their first live action of the PACWEST Championship on Thursday night when they face the #4 seeded Camosun Chargers at 6:00pm.
The Chargers have won three straight heading into the Championship, but haven`t had much luck against the Kermodes this season. These two clubs faced each other three times during the campaign with the Kermodes winning twice. As a matter of fact the Chargers lone win on the series was at Quest back in November. Overall the Chargers are shooting 33% in this series and the Kermodes are shooting 39.6%.
This quarterfinal could come down to ball control. Neither team has been able to do that so far in the seasonal series. The Chargers have turned it over 69 times and the Kermodes a whopping 86 times.
This has all the making of a back and forth game with emotions running high. The winner will move onto the semis to face Capilano on Friday, while the loser heads home.
